    We at Pema believe in guiding our guests with a holistic approach towards wellness. Our doctors, specialized in Naturopathy medicine analyse the medical history, current health, habits and overall lifestyle of each guest apart from a one-on-one consultation. This enables them to provide our guests’ a tailor-made wellness program undertaken by our qualified & highly experienced yoga professionals & healers, trained in age old and advanced therapy techniques.
  • HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?
    A request for reservation can be made online. Please fill in all the information in the application form.   • WHAT IS THE MINIMUM PERIOD OF STAY?
    We offer a wide variety of wellness options that you can choose from -If you are looking to undergo a basic healing & wellness program, we suggest a minimum of 1 week. -If you are looking for a weight management program, we suggest a minimum of 2 weeks. -For Medical Programmes, anywhere between 2–6 weeks. -From our experience, most people like to stay longer than we recommend.
  • WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY STAY?
    Every guest will undergo regular therapies & treatments, coupled with a tailor-made nutritious diet, that are prescribed by our doctors to aid in achieving wellness goals. Every guest will also have periodic consultations and check-ups, including one immediately upon arrival and prior to departure. Every guest will also be involved in various wellbeing activities throughout is/her stay, that focus on detoxification, rejuvenation, relaxation and overall wellness lifestyle.

    When a guest requests a reservation, they provide us their extensive medical background and lifestyle choices. Our Naturopathy and Yoga consultants study the request & work towards understanding the medical needs in order to create a customized wellness package for each guest which is a combination of treatments, consultations, wellbeing activities and the right cuisine, This is Pema wellness centre’s underlined path towards holistic wellness Our Healing Therapies include: Naturopathy – Hydrotherapy and Diet Therapy Yoga – Hatha yoga, yoga therapy and Jala yoga (Aqua yoga) Manipulative therapies – Swedish, Thai, Deep tissue, Hot stone, Balinese, Lymphatic drainage, Bamboo, Abhyanga, Shirodhara, etc. Acupuncture, Acupressure and Reflexology therapy

    Our doctors will be able to advice the most beneficial wellness packages, treatments therapies for you based on only a better knowledge of your health needs.
  • WHAT ARE THE WELLNESS PACKAGES AVAILABLE?
    An Experience the world of Pema wellness,incorporates in it the basic healing & wellness program to get you on the path of wellness, The health and wellness programmes are aimed at curing chronic diseases like diabetes, obesity, hypertension, arthritis, thyroid disorders etc. We have good success rate in treating the said ailments and also have specific medical programmes targeted at weight management, customized detoxification, rejuvenation which is tailor made as per individual health indicators.
  • WHAT IS THE CLIMATE LIKE IN VIZAG?
    The climate of Vizag varies 21-41°C in Summer and between 15-30°C in winter. Vizag experiences medium to high rainfall every day during the monsoon season. The Pema resort is situated on top of the healing hill and the entire facility is air-conditioned, which minimizes the impact of climatic changes to a great extent. Can we use the pool for swimming other than having it for Jal yoga? Yes, the swimming pool facility can be used for swimming as well.
  • CAN WE USE GADGETS LIKE MOBILE, LAPTOP, ETC.?"
    Pema is a wellness retreat and where emphasis is on relaxing and rejuvenating without the use of technology. We request you to not use them in common areas, consultations & healing hub which will not only be a distraction to you but will cause an inconvenience to other guests as well. Besides, it will ensure digital detoxification. You can, however, make use of your electronic gadgets while in the room
  • WHAT ARE YOUR CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?

  • WHAT KIND OF ACCOMMODATION DO YOU HAVE?
    We have 4 different room categories: Luxury, Premium, Executive & Suite. The Luxury Rooms: The rooms have warm and welcoming interiors and are located on the third level. The rooms have two single beds, an attached bath and all the necessary amenities. The rooms come with a balcony view of the garden and the sea. The Premium Rooms: The rooms come with inviting interiors and direct access to the garden. The rooms have two single beds, an attached bath and all the necessary amenities. All the rooms have a sea view. The Executive Rooms: The Executive room has luxurious interiors and high elevated ceiling giving it a very spacious and rich feel. The room has a double bed, an attached bath, a balcony with sea view and all other necessary amenities. The Suites: The Suite has two rooms with rich interiors and high elevated ceilings giving it a very spacious and luxurious feel. There is a living room with an attached powder room, a bedroom with a double bed, walk-in wardrobe & attached bath, a balcony in each room with a sea view and all other necessary amenities, it also includes personal yoga sessions that are exclusive to the Suites only.
  • WHAT KIND OF FOOD DO YOU SERVE?
    We believe in the basic principle of Naturopathy, “LET FOOD BE THY MEDICINE, MEDICINE BE THY FOOD” Since our goal at Pema is to aid in our guests’ wellbeing, we serve only vegetarian. Every guest receives a customized diet plan designed by our team of qualified doctors and Nutritionists along with our team of highly experienced senior Chefs. They all work together to serve a wide variety of cuisines ranging from ethnic Indian to International, keeping in view the nutrients and therapeutic requirements, and at the same time, working to make the dining at Pema, a world-class experience. Please note that we do not serve non-vegetarian. A healthy vegetarian diet, packed with nutrients and minerals is known to support a lifetime of good health and provide protection against numerous ailments. Vegetarianism is also considered to be the ultimate weight-loss diet.
  • ARE SMOKING AND ALCOHOL ALLOWED?
    As we are a wellness & healing centre, every guest consumes food & drinks specifically designed to aid in your wellbeing. You are expected to follow the diet prescribed by our doctors and nutritionists. Our policy:: No alcohol No smoking No outside food No non-vegetarian These need to be strictly adhered to and any breach in the resort’s discipline could also amount to requesting the guest to leave our premises.
  • DO YOU PROVIDE INTERNET SERVICES?
    Yes, wi-fi connection available. You will be given the details during check-in.
  • DOES PEMA OFFER TRANSPORTATION & ASSISTANCE FROM THE AIRPORT?
    Airport assistance services are available on arrival and departure for the guests who have booked their stay directly with Pema’s reservations team. These services are chargeable.
  • HOW CAN PAYMENT BE MADE?
    3 days’ payment has to be deposited at the time of confirming reservation. Balance retreat price to be deposited 30 days prior to arrival date. We accept credit cards (Visa, Master and American Express), cash and cheque. PAN card is mandatory for all cash payments. IS
  • IS PEMA CONDUCIVE TO GUESTS TRAVELING ALONE?
    Yes, Pema is a safe & comfortable resort for any guest traveling alone. Many of our guests (including female guests) do come alone in order to experience our healing and wellness programs.
  • WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING ALONG?
    Indian citizen guests: Kindly carry an ID card (e.g. Aadhar card, Pan card, Voter ID etc.) Non-Indian Citizen: Kindly carry your original passport and visa. Guest on a Medical Programme: Kindly bring along all your medical reports For Wellness Activities: Walking attire & shoes, comfortable clothing, ample inner wear, 2 sets of swimsuits, soothing music (if you like), light woollens in winter, Electronics: Appropriate converters for your electronic items (Indian current is 240 V).
